Collabco’s partnership with the New Model Institute for Technology and Engineering

We are delighted to announce a new working partnership with the New Model Institute for Technology and Engineering (NMITE). NMITE will implement the myday platform for students to support their learning journey firstly before going on to create a portal for staff to use.

NMITE is an initiative backed by government, educators, and industry, to transform engineering education in Britain, helping to secure the country’s competitive future.

The Institution is ensuring its core foundations are in place before students join. The vision for myday at NMITE is that all students will use the platform from day one and it will be central to their studies. Eventually applicants will also become familiar with the myday through the Recruit function which will assist with enrolment and signposting through the application process. myday Recruit also enables applicants to familiarise themselves with the learning systems as well as experience the culture of the Institute even before they join.

NMITE have big plans using myday as they look to build their pioneering new campus with brand-new, state-of-the art facilities around the learning platform.

Paul Guest, Head of IT at NMITE and a big advocate of myday, previously utilised the product at a UK based higher education institution. “I’m looking forward to working with Collabco to develop a revolutionary version of myday for NMITE to help support the learning of the next generation of engineers.”
